The College was Born out of the visions of a great social worker dedicated to education, J.M. College is a symbol of the painstaking efforts of Late. Fateh Bahadur Singh during 1979. The college was founded at a time when Bhurkunda had already become a hub of Coal Mining network with a large population of workers. But with no college where the children of the society could get the benefit of higher education, especially the children of deprived society.
As the name reflects IQAC - Internal Quality Assurance Cell is a structure that would help educational institutions to improve their work processes and achieve learning outcomes & objectives. However, IQAC is not just a committee. It is a “participative” and “facilitative” unit that would closely work with the faculty members to plan out the best possible strategies!
